ENRIQUE GARCIA - MADRID - GUITAR

He begins to play the guitar at the age of 16, and studies music and violin interpretation in the Madrid Conservatory. In 1970 he begins to play in different pop and rock groups based in Madrid(venturing finally into jazz), and starts to develop his own personal style and technique on the guitar. |

He was a member of NEOBOP, group he started working with in 1982, and remained with during four years working the club and jazz festival scene, and with whom he recorded on the television program "JAZZ ENTRE AMIGOS". At the end of 1993, he was asked to participate as a musician-actor in the theatre play "MARAT-SADE", directed by Miguel Narros in the Maria Guerrero Theatre, in Madrid, during five months, and another two months on tour throughout all of Spain. |

He has worked with musicians such as: JORGE PARDO, RAMON LEAL, PEDRO RUY-BLAS, FERNANDO SOBRINO, LARRY MARTIN, PEDRO ITURRALDE, TATSUO AOKI, PABLO ABRAIRA, JUAN MURO, ALEX COOCKE, ABDUL SALIM, MALIK, TONY MORENO, RICHIE FERRER, CARLOS GONZALEZ, GERMAN COPPINI, JOSHUA EDELMAN, etc. He is the most veteran member of the LARRY MARTIN BAND, in as he has been a member since 1988, and is a fundamental pillar. |
