LARRY MARTIN BAND is one of the most solid and recognized today and one of the best jazz-blues references made in Spain. This strength is backed by long life and especially the belief in their music.

Songs of jazz and blues played by a voice with a great ability to communicate feelings and emotions and musicians who shine in their solos and get their arrangements create environments that make the listener immersed in a sound universe of "standards", along with many other original, each with its own discourse and a
modern sound.

They have performed concerts all over Spain in clubs, cultural centers, events, private parties, and International
Jazz Festivals as: CANARIAS, BOADILLA DEL MONTE, VIGO, GALAPAGAR, TALAVERA DE LA REINA, SAN
MARTIN DE LA VEGA, SAN JAVIER, ZARAGOZA, MADRID, CASTILLA y LEÓN, MÓSTOLES, CEUTA,
ZAMORA, MUNILLA, PEÑÍSCOLA, etc.

The group was born in late 1987 and consists of renowned musicians in jazz circuits DOMINGO J. SANCHEZ -
piano, RICHIE FERRER - bass, and ENRIQUE GARCIA - guitar. And starting 2011 with the incorporation into the
band of an attractive young singer, SHEILA BLANCO, a woman who has a fabulous voice, exquisite technique and
stage presence filled with joy and devotion. Back in the band feel the fresh air that cause the changes, renewed
repertoire and prepare the matters to be part of a new CD that publish in January 2012, "EVERYTHING MUST
CHANGE". A record that reflects the evolution of the group with their own songs as "The Silent Man," "Since I
found you baby" or "Oh my God!" Also standars with original arrangements, such as "Brother can you spare a
dime","Deep in a dream", “Fascinating Rhythm”, or the great album's title track "Everything Must Change".

And at the end of 2012 celebrated its 25 years as stable formation, something exceptional in the world of music,
and celebrate it with a new compilation CD, LMB - 25 YEARS - "THE BEST", which includes some of the best
songs of the LMB discography , and a live event, a concert at the Teatro Fernan Gomez on November 24, as part
of the XXIX Festival International de Jazz de Madrid.

It is directed by LARRY MARTIN, a drummer with extensive experience who has worked and recorded with many
of the best musicians and artists who have visited or passed through Madrid and was a founding member of the
prestigious group GUADALQUIVIR. His concern led him to have alternative projects and collaborate in various
formations since, but from 1996 delivers most of his time and energy to LARRY MARTIN BAND looking for
personal and collective superation.
